Aamir Khan Starrer Dangal has been breaking all the records at the box office window. The movie currently holds second place in the highest grossing Bollywood movie worldwide list just behind Aamir’s previous film PK (741 crores). As of now, PK was a blockbuster movie that had grossed 741 crores worldwide.
Dangal released on 23rd December 2016 and has been doing wonders at the box office since then. The film earned 192 crores in the first week and 111 crores in the second week in India. This means that after 17 days, the movie has earned 483.42 crores (Gross) in the Indian market, which is also equal to 345.30 crores (Nett). The movie has also earned 180.5 crores in the overseas market, making its grand total at 663.92 crores.
Aamir Khan is known for setting new benchmarks whenever his new films release. Ghajini was the first Bollywood movie to earn 100 crores in 2008.
