Golden Globe organizers are being very careful to avoid any embarrassing moments. There have been few debacles at the award functions. Organizers of Golden globes revealed the plan to avoid them.
Organizers have many challenges in organizing the 2017 Golden Globes awards. One of the challenges is logistical problems to manage this weekend awards show. Golden Globe is one of the most coveted awards that honor the best in American Television and the film industry.
Golden Globe 2017 is being held at the time when largest storms in the decade are about to hit California. This has made the job of organizers even harder, as they have to cope with the storm in addition to all the security measures. They are preparing themselves to set the stage for this year’s Golden globe.
According to the person close to the event, the organizers are planning to tent the red carpet that will be enough to avoid any embarrassing moments as there have been quite a lot embarrassing incidents in recent years.
Last year, they had made special security arrangements, which allow all the celebrity to go through a shuttle that ran to The Beverly Hilton from Century City. This special arrangement can be seen as an epic fail because many guests had to wait hours before they get into the after parties. The red carpet during Golden Globes 2014 was damaged before the stars could arrive at The Beverly Hilton, all thanks to sewage pipe burst. But the forecast has predicted the storms; this means that the organizers have to be extra careful to handle any unwanted liquid products.
According to the National Weather Service, there will be a storm in California this week. The storm will bring heavy rains, which can lead to flooding, road closures, and avalanches. Most of the city is getting ready to avoid these kinds of stuff.
The Department of Los Angeles County Sheriff is going to help the Beverly Hills Police Department for arranging security of the events. Private security is also expected to be available similar to last year.
The general manager of The Beverly Hilton, Sandy Murphy said, “We have been working with all concerned parties throughout the past year to develop a transportation plan that will allow the guests attending the events surrounding the Golden Globes to be transported in a timely manner, while still maintaining the safety and security of our guests.”
