Rajkumar Rao playing 324 year old in Raabta

Rajkumar Rao in raabta

Recently, we saw the trailer of Raabta. It was full of romance, and lot of surprises. The trailer goes in completely different direction in the second half. This is said to be another recarnation film. Where the actor and actress take the second birth to complete there love. But is it really that way!

Well, at the end of the trailer we see a creepy old man, with his creepy looks. The role is done by none other than The National Award winning actor Rajkumar Rao. Yes, he is coming with another selling performance.

Rajkumar has always impressed the audience with his acting skills. Every role he played in past from he just stole everyone’s heart. When Vikramaditya Motwane’s Trapped came in the theaters the critic and the viewers could not help praising the actor and felt as if they are watching the agony of a trapped man instead of looking at an actor portraying the story of a fictional man. It was just amazing. The actor sat down with the director Dinesh Vijan and tried sixteen different looks before finalizing the one.

Well, his look cannot be recognizable. And that’s what different about Rajkumar, he is not a ‘typical Bollywood hero’. He is just an actor, a compelling actor. We can see why the director chore Rajkumar for this role, its because if nobody will do it, Rajkumar will do it.

The team did a lot of hard work to give the character life in the film. It was not an easy task, they took two days to pick the final look of Rajkumar.

The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in the main lead. Jim Sarabh is playing the antagonist in the film. We can see lot of good actors in the film. Everyone knows Sushant is a great actor, he has proved in his last movie MS Dhoni; The Untold Story. Jim Sarabh done a fabulous job in his debut film Neerja. And now Rajkumar joining the crew just made the film more excited.

Regardless, what anyone says about this film. It looks great and has some amazing actors in it, so it will be definitely worth watching. The film will release on June 9.
