The budget of the movie is 150-185 million USD and as of now, the movie has earned 82 million USD.
When the movie was first announced, everyone was excited but there was a question on everyone’s mind, ‘will the movie live up to the hype’ and quite frankly it is. The critics say that it is one of the best sequels of any science fiction film.
The movie grossed 12.7 million USD on the first day, which is obviously a huge number. Lately, we have seen some movies like ‘IT’ and ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’, which is also going strong at the Box office and things are looking good for ‘Blade Runner 2049’ also, when ‘IT’ released, it opened with 13 million USD and right now it is one of the most successful movies of the year. And when we see ‘Blade Runner 2049’, it opened with 12 million USD, which is close to ‘IT’ and we can say that ‘Blade Runner 2049’ is also going to be one of the biggest movies of the year.
