Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is back in the live action adaption of ‘Rampage’. The makers have released the first trailer for the film and boy, it looks magnificent. Dwayne Johnson is once again collaborating with Brad Peyton for the movie ‘Rampage’. Both of them have worked in ‘San Andreas’. The movie is an adaption of popular 1986 video game.
In the film, The Rock will play the head of an anti-poaching unit operating in Rwanda. The movie revolves around three genetically modified animals a Gorilla, A Wolf and an Alligator. The original game allowed players to take control of three giant beasts. These beasts are a gorilla called George, a wolf called Ralph and a lizard called Lizzie. The players had to destroy a series of building in each level while fighting off the attacks from police, civilians, and military.
The trailer is looking awesome. Dwayne Jonson is as usual in beast mode. The giant gorilla and wolf are destroying the city altogether. At the end, you can see a glimpse of a giant alligator. The trailer is filled with high-octane action sequences and few funny one-liners. The trailer has certainly raised our curiosity for the movie “Rampage”.
‘Rampage’ is an action monster movie directed by Brad Peyton. The screenplay has been written by Ryan Engle, Ryan J. Condal, Carlton Cuse and Adam Sztykiel. The movie is based on the popular video game of the same name. The film features Dwayne Jonson, Naomie Harris, Joe Manganiello, Malin Akerman, Marley Shelton, Jake Lacy and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The movie is slated to release on 20th April 2018 by New Line Cinema.
